Dharavi, Mumbai’s iconic Hip-Hop act 7Bantai’Z has released its latest effort. Titled ‘Into The Slum’ EP, the six-track project features guest appearances by underground emcees and record producers including DRJ Sohail, Captain Fuse and Bunny on ‘Energy’, ‘Whole Squad’, ‘White Collar’, ‘In My Head’, ‘Turn It Up’ and ‘Bambaiya Swad’.
7Bantai’Z rose to prominence after releasing some of the most authentic records from Mumbai’s burgeoning Hip-Hop scene and established their position as one of the most influential Hip-Hop acts in India.
The ensemble includes Crackpot (Aditya Vhatkar), Yoku BIG (Yogesh Kurme), Lil Damn (Siddesh Jammi), Bonz n Ribz (Nishant Mohite), Mr Scam (David Klyton), and Beat Slayer (Abhishek Kurme).
With a vivid discography which cuts across languages – Marathi, Hindi, English & Telugu – 7Bantai’Z joined forces with Dopeadelicz and other crews to form a consortium called ‘Dharavi United’.
