Mumbai’s rap icon Loka, born Lok Bista, has broken his silence on a huge new single “Arthur Road”. The affecting rap single, which serves as the lead single of Loka’s forthcoming debut album, captures the iconic emcee’s evocative struggles with incarceration and its impact on his personal life.
While Loka reminisces about his time in prison and his insistence on “never snitching”, the troubled emcee further narrates painful conversations with his mother through the drill record.
Notably, “Arthur Road” serves as the follow-up to “Burey Din”. The cathartic rap record, which was released amidst Loka’s controversial arrest, left a wide section of rap fans worried about his situation at the time.
Produced by rising trap & drill producer Babywxve and CJ Chirag, “Arthur Road” single arrives within days after Loka shared the track’s artwork with his fans.
