Indian rap superstar Emiway Bantai, born Bilal Shaikh, has shocked fans with a huge new single “Still Number 1”. The iconic rapper, record producer and songwriter Bantai released the hard-hitting single alongside a massive visual treatment.
Notably, Bantai released the incendiary rap single on the same day as MC Stan‘s “Basti Ka Hasti” music video premier. For over 5 years, the two rappers have been involved in infamous rap beefs and are one of the earliest Indian rappers to diss each other in 2018.
Ahead of the single, Bantai shared the exclusive “Still Number 1” artwork with his fans via Meta.
For Bantai, the track arrives amidst his forthcoming studio album “Duniya Aur Deen”.
Further, another legendary rapper and record producer Yo Yo Honey Singh has confirmed a guest feature by Bantai on “International Villager 2” LP arriving next year.
However the biggest Bantai record for now remains his debut collaborative effort with Lazarus. Bantai and Hip-Hop superproducer Lazarus continue to tease “Detroit to Antophill” EP featuring legendary Detroit emcee Swifty McVay and Bad Meets Evil-affiliate Royce Da 5’9″.
Most recently, Bantai premiered his major label debut “Kudi” and premiered “The Indian Hip-Hop Cypher” featuring the entire roster of artists associated with his coveted rap label Bantai Records.
