Punjabi hip-hop’s icon the late Sidhu Moosewala is slated to release his second posthumous record ‘Vaar’. Produced by Snappy Beats, the single is slated to release on November 8th, 2022. Moosewala released some of the biggest hits in Indian hip-hop before he was shot dead on May 29th this year.
The release announcement has set massive waves in hip-hop. Moosewala was one of the biggest hip-hop artists to emerge from Punjab and worked with artists around the globe for top-notch bangers. Providing a sound that’s affecting and deftly crafted, the emcee rose to global stardom with his music.

Notably, this might not be the only posthumous record in the works. Culture Haze reported earlier this month about a possible collaborative effort between Moosewala, Steel Bangelz and UK’s Burna Boy slated to release this month.
This isn’t the first time that Moosewala and Snappy Beats are coming together for a new single. In fact, ‘Jatt Da Muqabla’ – Moosewala’s breakthrough single through which he rose to prominence in 2018 – was produced by Snappy. The track still remains as one of Sidhu Moosewala’s finest records to date. Besides ‘Jatt Da Muqabla’, the two artists have worked together to release ‘Calaboose’, ‘Dogar’, ‘Trend’, ‘BLOODLUST’ and more.
