Malayali rapstar Vedan, born Hirandas Murali, has finally debuted with coveted record label Mass Appeal India. The breakthrough “Voice of Voiceless” rapper, who signed exclusively to Nas’ record label alongside Baby Jean and Dabzee, has released his huge new single “Kadha”.
Produced by rising record producer AbRAW, “Kadha” arrives within days after another Malayali emcee ThirumaLi signed exclusively to Mass Appeal India too. Across the flagrant rap record, Vedan raises concerns about the alarming crisis in Gaza.
Vedan’s major label release is preceded by his Mass Appeal India affiliates releasing top-tier rap records.
Reportedly, Dabzee released his massive “10 Gully” mixtape with lethal guest verses by breakout Southern emcees SA, M.H.R., Joker390P, Fura and Simmo.
Released ahead of his Mass Appeal debut, the 9-track mixtape was preceded by Baby Jean premiering his top-selling rap single “KAAYI”.
In other news, Mass Appeal mogul Nas linked up with Punjabi rap superstar Karan Aujla in New York last night. The long overdue meeting arrived within hours after Aujla’s historic win at the 53rd Annual Juno Awards.
Vedan is yet to premiere an exclusive cut for his latest single.
