Breakthrough Malayali emcee and songwriter Dabzee, born Mohammed Fazil, has finally released his massive debut single with Mass Appeal India. Titled “Manka”, the single is produced by Thudwiser and arrives nearly a year after the marquee “Malabari Banger” rapper signed exclusively to Nas’ label alongside top-tier southern emcees Baby Jean and Vedan.

The sprawling single arrives within days after Vedan premiered his Mass Appeal India debut “Kadha”. Through the evocative Malayali rap record, the flagrant emcee raised crucial concerns about the continuing crisis in Gaza, Palestine.

For Dabzee & Thudwiser, “Manka” marks their second top-tier single released by a major record label. In November last year, the hard-hitting Malayali artists joined forces with Fejo and now Dabzee’s Mass Appeal labelmate ThirumaLi for “Sambar”. The single was released through another coveted rap record label Def Jam Recordings India.

Notably, the sprawling drill single receives further record production assistance from Mass Appeal‘s executive Ranbir “Kpr” Kapoor and marks a rare instance where an Indian artist has linked up with a record exec for a track.

Dabzee is yet to release an exclusive visual cut for his Mass Appeal debut.

Besides “Manka”, the provocative southern emcee recently linked up with Baby Jean & Malayali superstar Neeraj “NJ” Madhav on the “Ballaatha Jathi” single.

Indian rap music further anticipates Baby Jean’s Mass Appeal debut. The flagrant rapper, who recently premiered his massive single “Kaayi”, is expected to release his major label rap record this summer.
