After nearly 15 years, Indian rap pioneer Badshah has ended his infamous beef with legendary emcee & former Mafia Mundeer affiliate Yo Yo Honey Singh. The trailblazing rap moguls, who formed the notorious rap group alongside another veteran emcee Raftaar, Ikka and Lil Golu, parted ways amidst a slew of exits in 2011.
Reportedly, Badshah parted ways with Mafia Mundeer after a rift ensued between the “O’ Sajna” rapper and Honey Singh over the “Get Up Jawani” record.
At the time, the rapper “misunderstood” Honey Singh for engaging in unfair business practices leading to lesser recognition for Badshah.
The accusations were further cemented by Raftaar & Ikka’s prior exits from perhaps the biggest Indian rap consortium in history. While the “Laadla” rapper called it quits citing “internal politics”, the Kalamkaar affiliate was rather concerned after he wasn’t credited for Honey Singh’s massive rap record “Dope Shope” upon its release.
However, Badshah has now ended his infamous rap feud with the cult “International Villager”.
Performing a massive live concert in Dehradun, Badshah expressed that he “calls it quits” referring to the tensions with Yo Yo Honey Singh and strives to “leave that grudge behind”.
“I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding but then I realized when we were together, the number of people wanting to break us apart outnumbered the number of people trying to unite. Today, I just want to let everyone know I’ve left that phase behind and I wish him all the best,” Badshah said further.

Yo Yo Honey Singh is yet to respond to Badshah’s call to end the rap feud.
In October last year, Honey Singh confirmed his debut collaboration effort with another veteran rapper Bohemia after over two decades. Whether Badshah will find a spot on Singh’s forthcoming rap LP “International Villager 2” remains to be seen.
