Legendary Detroit Rapper Eminem Releases Sophomore Single ‘Tobey’ From ‘The Death of Slimshady’ LP, Features Big Sean & Babytron

Amidst high anticipation for his forthcoming album “The Death of Slim Shady” this summer, Eminem has released the second single from the LP. Titled “Tobey”, the single is produced by marvy ayy, John Nocito, Cole Bennett & more and features guest verses by fellow Detroit rappers Big Sean and Babytron.

Across the flagrant single, Eminem asserts his far-reaching influence on global rap music, and rightly so, while addressing Billboard’s Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list.

I got so many stories, but I hate ceilings
Ain’t feelin’ your top five favorite rappers
So I know they ’bout to be pissed at me
But this, to me, is a mystery
How rappers I’ve already ripped could be
Higher up on a list than me
Yet here I sit on your list though at five, which still was fine
But just know inside, to me, that shit’s hilarious, so when I
Get dissed though and by a pioneer
Who was one of the reasons why I am here
They tell me I should just let that shit go and slide
“Melle Mel shouldn’t get no reply”
“That man is a legend,” b—-, so am I,
” Eminem raps on “Tobey”.

For Shady, “Tobey” serves as the follow-up to the LP’s lead single “Houdini” and its visual treatment is set to drop this Friday. Reportedly, the cut is directed by Lyrical Lemonade.

Look out for ‘The Death of Slimshady’ LP by Eminem.
