Toronto, Canada’s rap mogul Drake and “Massive” record producer Gordo have premiered the sophomore visual treatment from the Guatemalan American DJ’s latest album “Diamante”.
Titled “Healing”, which is one of the two collaborations between Drake & Gordo on the LP, the heartwarming cut is directed by “We Caa Done” filmmaker Theo Skudra and captures the struggles of The Don Madfunz – a TikTok user who travelled 9 miles to work and support his family.
“His taste in music grabbed my attention, but it was his dancing, smile and story that really hooked me. The Don would walk 9 miles to work every single day despite the weather or his personal safety… he risked it all for his family… and dreamed one day of his very slow walk being over and finally being able to own a car for himself so he can provide for his family,” Gordo wrote on social media.
“When I was thinking about the “HEALING” music video, I couldn’t get Don out of my head… I knew I had to get him involved… so I hit up my friend, and director, Theo Skudra, and we decided to make a video following a day in Don’s life,” Gordo wrote further about the concept behind the affecting cut.

Gordo further surprises ‘The Don’ with a Volkswagen towards the end of the video filmed in Dududu, a rural area about an hour outside of Durban. Check out his reaction via Instagram here.
Besides “Healing”, Gordo has premiered the visuals for “Kill For This Shit” featuring Young Dolph from the LP.
