Infamous Indian emcee & record producer Emiway Bantai, born Bilal Shaikh, has premiered his lethal diss record against King.
Titled “Roko 2MG”, the drill single is mired by provocative rhymes against the “Monopoly Moves” rapper and cuts deep into King’s rap career – similar to Bantai’s lethal diss records against Kr$na and Raftaar in the past.
Across the flagrant single, Bantai stirs the conversation around the longevity of independent artists and those backed by major labels. The “King of The Streets” rapper further asserts that King must stop rappin’ altogether and rather stick to pop music.
The hard-hitting single has left Indian rap music divided. While Bantai’s camp, notoriously referred to as “Bantai Ki Public” or “The People of Bantai” celebrates the track as the return of Antop Hill rap, King’s fans have urged the rapper not to pay attention to the diss.
King responded to Bantai’s diss in a now-deleted comment on the latter’s YouTube channel. “I was so hyped that no. 1 diss rapper is about to diss me… bro give my 2:46 back please,” the rapper wrote.
