Atlanta’s rapper & songwriter Rich Homie Quan, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, has released his debut posthumous LP “Forever Goin In”. Traversing 35 new tracks, the LP features guest verses by 2 Chainz, Lil Tjay, Plies, SkillaBaby, Sukihana and a slew of top-tier ATL underground emcees.
The LP arrives within a month after the “Lifestyle” rapper passed away due to “accidental drug overdose”. The rapper was just 34 years of age.
“34 listed songs ironically that’s the age I… 🕊️🙏🏿😔bonus 1 extra, because tomorrow will forever be a celebration!” Quan wrote to his fans via Instagram just ahead of releasing the feature-stacked project.

Quan’s shocking death sent turmoils across rap music. Revered in Atlanta for his star-studded discography and grimy adlibs, the Rich Gang-affiliate released various timeless records including “Imma Ride”, “Blah Blah Blah”, “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Type of Way”.
“While he leaves us with an undeniable hole in our hearts, we are comforted by knowing his music and triumphant spirit lives on. Quan’s legacy will forever be cemented as a soundtrack to our lives. And for this, we are grateful. Celebration of life details will be shared soon,” Quan’s family said in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.
“Thank you to everyone for your kind words and support at this difficult time.”
Rest In Peace, Dequantes Devontay Lamar.
