Legendary Punjabi singer & songwriter Gurdas Maan has given Karan Aujla his flowers.

The veteran “Punjab Di Shaan” artist, who is recognised for having one of the most influential careers which traverses over four decades, praised Aujla’s honest songwriting and the undeniable depth in his poetry. Maan further appreciated the “Who They?” rapper’s perseverance even after having a difficult childhood.

“His parents are not here in this world but their blessings are with him. He has also written various songs on his mother. So, it means a lot. His poetry has depth and such depths do not come without a massive shock,” Maan said during a recent appearance at a prominent podcast.

Aujla took to Instagram to express gratitude for Maan’s comments.

“Life is so wild. Honestly, got nothing to say,” the “Goin’ Off” rapper said and shared a rare photograph with the legendary singer. Check it out below.

Notably, this isn’t the first time that Aujla has expressed his admiration for veteran folk artists.

In May, the “Four Me” singer paid homage to Punjabi folk singer Manmohan Waris on his top-tier single “Winning Speech”.

Maan’s admiration for Aujla within hours after the 53rd Canadian Juno Awardee announced his 3rd single with the “Watch Out” producer MXRCI this year.

Titled “Sifar-Safar”, the forthcoming single is set to release on October 18th and arrives amidst high anticipation for Aujla’s massive India leg of his “It Was All A Dream World Tour”.

Look out for the “Sifar-Safar” single by Karan Aujla this Friday.
