Compton’s icon Snoop Dogg and the legendrary Philadelphia-based producer DJ Drama have joined forces to drop another Gangsta Grillz project. Titled ‘Gangsta Grillz: I Still Got It’, the 13-track project has guest appearances by Dave East, Kurupt, Trinidad James, Daz Dilinger and more.
The project has production by Snoop Dogg (under his notorious producer alias Dr. Bombay), Hollywood Cole, Don Cannon among others. The sound is inspired by the groovy tunes signature of Snoop’s low-rider music. The project is released through Death Row Records.
Notably, this is the third ‘Gangsta Grillz’ Mixtape by DJ Drama this year. On March 31 this year, he had dropped a ‘Gangsta Grillz’ project titled ‘D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape’ with J. Cole and the entire Dreamville roster. It was preceded by a similiar project with Jim Jones titled ‘Gangsta Grillz: We Set the Trends’. ‘Gangsta Grillz: I Still Got it’ now serves as a follow-up to Snoop Dogg’s 19th studio album ‘Bacc on Death Row’ which was released in February this year and had guest appearances by Nas, DaBaby and more.
Recently, the ‘Gin & Juice’ rapper had announced that he has linked up with Dr. Dre for a new album. Titled ‘Missionary’, Snoop revealed that the project will be released on the 30th anniversary of 1993’s Dr. Dre produced ‘Doggystyle’.
