After Nearly Ten Years, Skrillex Returns With Two Back-To-Back Albums

Sonny John Moore, referred to popularly as Skrillex, has released his sophomore and third studio album after nearly ten years. The Los Angeles-born DJ and record producer has released the follow-up(s) to his debut ‘Recess’ LP. Titled ‘Quest For Fire’ and ‘Don’t Get Too Close’, the two star-studded LPs were released by the legendary Moombahton and Dubstep DJ in just two days.

‘Quest For Fire’ is a sprawling 15-track bassline record which draws inspiration from Skrillex’s seismic Dubstep, Melodic Garage and Futuristic Dancehall and more. Notably, the record features guest appearances from the iconic Portsmouth emcee Missy Elliot and marquee artists including Sleepnet, Fred Again.. & Flowdan, Starrah, Eli Keszler, Siickbrain, Posji and more.

However, Moore’s second LP and his career’s third, ‘Don’t Get Too Close’, is a riveting Hip-Hop record which features guest appearances from Chief Keef, Don Toliver, Justin Bieber, Kid Cudi, Swae Lee, Trippie Redd, Bibi Bourelly and more. Clocking in at just over thirty minutes and spanning twelve tracks, Skrillex’s latest LP is his most ambitious record yet.
