Amidst legendary slain rapper Sidhu Moose Wala making his 4th posthumous Billboard debut with “Drippy” single, another MXRCI-produced album “Chobar” has charted on the coveted Billboard Canada Top 100 Albums chart.
The “Darji” superproducer, who joined forces with Punjabi emcee and singer Arjan Dhillon for the 14-track record, has entered the Billboard Canada chart at the 10th spot and marks his third such recognition this year.
Besides “Drippy” and “Chobar” LP, MXRCI’s sprawling collaboration “Watch Out” with Moosa and Punjabi rap pioneer Sikander Kahlon debuted at the 4th spot on the Billboard India chart.
Released earlier this month, “Chobar” LP is a vivid concoction of Punjabi rap, trap and pop music.
While the album does not feature any guest verses, the massive studio album, which further marks Arjan Dhillon’s 5th such effort, is home to various provocative songtitles including “Youth Flow”, “Hot S—“, “Glorious”, “Parallel Thoughts” and “Woah”.
The project is executive-produced by MXRCI.
