Amidst high anticipation for their Mass Appeal debut, Karachi rapstars Talha Anjum and Umair have joined forces for another massive Urdu record.
Titled “Citylights”, the flagrant single is produced by “Rockstar Without A Guitar” producer and features verses by “Big Dawg Thing” emcee JJ47 and underground Pakistani singer Maria Unera. The track is mastered by “Lostalgia” record producer Jokhay.
Across the hard-hitting record, Anjum and JJ47 trade deep cuts about their unprecedented rise in South Asian rap music and the betrayals which have come with it.
Notably, the single arrived days after Anjum linked up with Canadian record producer Rahul Sathu on “Channa Ve”.

For Anjum and Umair, the latest collaboration serves as the follow-up to two flagrant projects – “For Tha Dogs” and “Ghosts & Goodbyes”.
In other news, India’s coveted record label and rap entertainment behemoth Gully Gang has announced its second edition of “Gully Fest”.
Performers include legendary Bronx rapper Pusha T, Indian rap pioneer Divine, Pune’s lethal emcee Sambata, Prabh Deep, Shillong’s breakout emcee Reble, Gravity, Yashraj, Gully Gang All Stars, pop singer Lisa Mishra, The Siege and more.
JJ47 is yet to release “Citylights” on streaming platforms.
