Over the weekend, American rap superstar G-Eazy, born Gerald Earl Gillum, performed two top-tier sets in India.
The iconic “These Things Happen” emcee, who is presently touring India amidst high anticipation for his forthcoming studio album, shut down Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR.
Reportedly, G-Eazy performed a slew of his iconic rap records including “Random”, “No Limit” featuring A$ap Rocky & Cardi B, “The Plan”, “Tumblr Girls”, and “Me, Myself & I” featuring former partner Halsey across Delhi and Bengaluru.
After his Delhi concert, the rapper further expressed his gratitude to India for ‘honoring his mother’ and appreciate his music.
“My Mom came to me in a dream last night, N at the show tonight there were multiple fans holding signs n pictures honouring her. She was there in a big way. The tore up sign was from a fan in front row who held it all night n it originally said “We Miss Susie Too”. Love and appreciate you all for showing and giving love.” Eazy wrote via Instagram.

G-Eazy’s three-city India tour arrives amidst a slew of international and domestic Hip-Hop acts performing at various Indian festivals.
As per reports, East Coast Hip-Hop superstar A$ap Ferg is set to perform his debut live set in Pune this week.
While Pune hosted gangsta rap pioneer YG, MC Stan, British emcee M.I.A., Cartel Madras & more at NH7 Weekender Festival in December, Eazy’s former partner Halsey, JPEGMAFIA & Prabh Deep and superproducers Kenny Beats & Karan Kanchan will perform at this year’s Lollapalooza India alongside One Republic and The Police’s former bassist and frontman Sting.
In later November last year, 50 Cent shut down Mumbai as part of his worldwide “Final Lap Tour” too.
