Within hours after Metro Boomin & Future’s debut collaborative effort “We Don’t Trust You” went #1 on the Billboard Top Albums 200, the top-tier record producer has announced his massive concert at the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt. As per reports, the marquee “Type Shit” producer will perform his first-ever live set at Egyptian Pyramids on April 30th, 2024.
For the Atlanta-based record producer, the forthcoming concert arrives amidst high anticipation for his sophomore collaborative album with Future next Friday.
Titled “We Still Don’t Trust You”, the LP will serve as a prequel to his latest rap LP which continues to raze through Billboard Hot 100 with 5 rap records – “Type Shit”, “Cinderella”, “Like That”, “Young Metro” and “We Don’t Trust You”.

As reported last year, Houston’s rap superstar Travis Scott was originally slated to premiere his Grammy-nominated rap LP “Utopia” at the Pyramids of Giza. However, La Flame’s historic concert was reportedly cancelled by the Egyptian authorities ’cause of “strange rituals” which might not adhere to “Egyptian and Arab customs and traditions”.
“Based on research and documented information about strange rituals at Travis’s concerts that are inconsistent with our authentic societal values and traditions, the Board of Directors has decided to cancel the license issued to hold this type of concert that contradicts the cultural identity of the Egyptian people,” The Egyptian Syndicate of Musical Professions, Cairo’s crucial public authority overseeing the issuing of permits for concerts, said at the time.
The restrictions on Scott’s were further imposed amidst numerous deaths at his “Astroworld Festival” in 2021. Organized by Scott’s “Cactus Jack”, the massive concert led to 8 fatal deaths and over a hundred casualties.
At the time, Scott assured his fans that he will return to the Pyramids of Giza for a massive concert. Whether Scott will join Boomin during his forthcoming concert is yet to be confirmed.
In other news, Boomin revealed this morning that his phone was hacked and he didn’t snub Atlanta’s “american dream” rapper 21 Savage. His phone stands recovered after numerous attempts at theft from Balenciaga and a series of foul hacked tweets.
