Underground Bengaluru emcee & songwriter Killa K, born Kevin Lourd, has premiered his debut single with Def Jam Recordings India.
Titled “Podu Mike”, the flagrant 2-minute cut features a guest verse by Singapore’s Tamil rap royalty Yung Raja and follows two top-tier rap records – “Jolly” with Parimal Shais & “Puriya Vei”.
Across the incendiary collaboration, Killa & Raja trade lethal bars about their southern rap lives and their well-deserved rise to the top. The massive single arrives within days after Killa first announced it through Instagram over the weekend.

For Def Jam Recordings India, the single arrives amidst the release of their trailblazing single “Big Dawgs”.
Performed by Hanumankind with production by Kalmi, the single broke into the Billboard Top 200 Global charts at the 9th spot and razed through the Billboard Hot 100 charts by moving up 26 places and debuting at the 31st spot last week.
