Amidst a longstanding strategic partnership with the betting, entertainment and lifestyle brand Stake, global rap and pop superstars Drake and Karan Aujla have just announced the Stake Formula 1 team.

As per the flagrant emcees, the Swiss team, which formerly competed under the Alfa Romeo title, will be referred to as the Stake F1 Team and will further its partnership with Sauber Motorsport AG.

Notably, the measures arrive ahead of the Formula 1 team’s rebrand as Audi’s Factory Team in 2026. In June last year, Aujla and Alfa Romeo Team Stake’s superstar drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu linked up just ahead of his top-charting Punjabi pop and rap album “Making Memories”.

Later, Aujla, Bottas and Guanyu appeared on the “Try Me” visual cut from the album.

Karan Aujla and Drake made the massive announcement via Instagram. Check it out below.

“We had the opportunity to participate in some incredible activations with some of Stake’s ambassadors, including Argentine football legend, Sergio Aguero and Indian-Canadian rapper Karan Aujla. 2024 will be a new page and the chance to do more, better, and reach even farther: we are looking forward to an even more exciting calendar of events in this new season,” Stake F1 Team Representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi said about the major announcement via a press release.

In November, Aujla made an appearance at “The Kris Fade Show” in Dubai and expressed his interest in working with Drake. At the time, Aujla’s comments stirred unprecedented anticipation for perhaps their debut collaborative effort.

Notably, Aujla’s appearance was followed by major collaboration rumours between the Punjabi emcee and Lil Durk after the two reportedly linked up in Abu Dhabi alongside Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix afterparty.

The Stake F1 Team now gears up for its debut at the Formula 1 Grand Prix London in February.
