Houston’s emcee, record producer & songwriter Travis Scott, born born Jacques Bermon Webster II, has announced his 5th studio album. The “Type Shit” rapper, who recently released his sophomore mixtape “Days Before Rodeo” after ten years, has confirmed that he is working on his next rap LP.

In a conversation with marquee visual artist George Condo, who designed artwork for Scott’s top-tier single “Franchise” featuring Young Thug & M.I.A., La Flame has revealed that his “Utopia” follow-up is being record amidst Circus Maximus World Tour.

“I’m back in album mode. I’ve been working on music and shit every day on tour. When I’m doing the stadiums, because they’re sold out, I can see the music for what it is. I’m fucking amped,” Scott said during his conversation with Condo.

Notably, this is the second such instance when the iconic “Drugs You Should Try It” emcee has confirmed the status of his forthcoming album. Earlier this year, Scott teased his 5th studio album and asserted that the forthcoming record is well in the works.

Scott is yet to reveal any further details about the album.

For Scott, the announcement arrives amidst his globetrotting “Circus Maximus World Tour”. The rapper recently performed for over 80,000 fans in Milan, Italy. Check it out below.

Recently, Singapore’s rap pioneer Yung Raja spoke about Scott’s massive live performances during an exclusive interview.

The “Mustafa” emcee, who debuted at Rolling Loud Thailand alongside Scott, Cardi B, Offset & more last year, spoke about the “Parking Lot” rapper’s deft curation of live concerts and his tendency to be at the “highest level a rapper or a performing artist could possibly be” during live shows.

I got to see what is the highest level a rapper or a performing artist could possibly take it to when it comes to doing a show. From the pyro to the set list and how he pieced everything together… the way he hyped the audience… the way everybody was so locked in with him for the entire set. I’ve never seen anything like that for real,” Raja said amidst the conversation.

Look out for Travis Scott’s 5th studio album.
