Indian rap superstar Badshah, born Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, has finally announced the lead single from his highly anticipated rap album “Badworld”. Earlier today, the legendary emcee, record producer, songwriter and former Mafia Mundeer affiliate shared an exclusive preview of the track.
The record, which is slated to release on August 8th 2023, hints at Badshah’s slight return to cult rap anthems which have given even India’s cinema powerhouse a run for their money.
Backed by affecting rap falsetto and vivid record production, Badshah has often dropped some of the most influential non-film pieces of music across his career.
Badshah is yet to reveal any further details about his next record. Check out the exclusive track and music video preview via X, formerly Twitter.
Badshah’s sprawling announcement about the ‘Badworld’ LP’s lead single arrives after a long wait. The “Players” emcee first announced the album in November last year and has been teasing the full-length rap record ever since.
Most recently, Badshah inaugurated the Dharavi Dream Project’s first state-of-the-art recording studio in Mumbai and will mentor 100 underprivileged youth in rap music.
Badshah’s lead single, which will perhaps be followed by the “Badworld” album, arrives amidst high anticipation for Karan Aujla’s massive Pop LP “Making Memories”.
On Monday, Aujla premiered the album’s lead single “Admirin’ You”. Produced by Punjabi superproducer Ikky, the single features a guest appearance by Toronto’s young pop artist Preston Pablo.
Look out for Badshah’s lead single from the ‘Badworld’ LP on August 8th 2023.
