Punjabi Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B superstar Karan Aujla has returned with a new single. Titled “Admirin’ You”, the hard-hitting track is produced by Punjabi superproducer Ikky and features a guest appearance by Toronto’s young pop artist Preston Pablo.
Notably, “Admirin’ You” serves as the lead single of Aujla’s highly anticipated album “Making Memories”. First announced in July, the album is slated to release on August 18th, 2023.
The “Four You” rapper’s latest single marks his foray into incendiary pop music. The record, which seemingly draws influence from classic 80s discotheque and pop, was originally slated to drop on August 4th.
While Geetan Di Machine swerves across Ikky‘s unsparing record production with unapologetic versatility, Pablo drops perhaps the biggest verse of his career yet. The young R&B singer is noted for becoming the “Breakthrough Artist of The Year” at the Juno Awards 2023.
While Pablo’s discography is home to top-selling pop records including “Flowers Need Rain” with Montreal-based record producers Banx & Ranx, “For Keeps”, “One Sided” & more, “Admirin’ You” is Pablo’s debut feature verse for an artist of Aujla’s stature.
“Admirin You” arrives alongside an epic visual treatment. Clocking at exactly three minutes and a half, the futurist music video is directed by legendary Punjabi filmmaker Rupan Bal alongside Dilpreet Singh.

With the release of this Punjabi pop record, anticipation for Aujla’s upcoming album is at an all-time high. The LP, which was first confirmed by the iconic singer in March this year, will be his second massive project this year.
Nearing its official release, the “Making Memories” album now competes with a slew of ruthless Punjabi Hip-Hop records. After Aujla’s unprecedented rollout of “Four You” EP, Punjabi Hip-Hop superstars Gurinder Gill and Shubh released their debut albums “Hard Choices” and “Still Rollin”.
Further, Sidhu Moose Wala, who once had an infamous beef with Aujla during the earliest days of each other’s sprawling rap careers, and Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine linked up on “Chorni”. AP Dhillon, who recently made history by becoming the first Punjabi artist to perform at the Juno Awards this year, has released two massive singles – “True Stories” alongside Shinda Kahlon and “Sleepless”.
Recently, Aujla forayed into the flagrant world of motorsports and linked up with Alfa Romeo Team Stake’s marquee drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu for an alleged music video from the project.
