Indian rap mogul Sidhu Moose Wala has moved up a spot on Spotify’s “Top 10 Most Followed Hip-Hop Artists” list. The slain Punjabi emcee, who was killed by the infamous gangsters in Mansa over two years ago, has now become the 4th most followed rapper in the world on Spotify.
For the “Moosetape” emcee, the posthumous recognition arrived within days after the “Attach” emcee and Badshah broke into Spotify’s marquee Top 10 list. As per chartmasters.org, Moosa surpassed another slain rapper Juice WRLD and moved to the coveted spot in the list.
Moose Wala now trails XXXTentacion, the legendary Detroit emcee Eminem and Toronto’s “It’s Up” rapper Drake.
Notably, Badshah continues to sit at the 10th spot and has surpassed West Coast pioneer Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Baby, Future, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, 50 Cent and A$ap Rocky alongside Moosa.
In other news, legendary Punjabi emcee Diljit Dosanjh shut down Birmingham as part of his massive “Dil-Luminati World Tour” last night. Amidst his massive performance at the Utilita Arena, the “Muhammad Ali” rapper brought out “his brother” Ed Sheeran and performed a slew of top-tier records.
Dosanjh’s Birmingham performance follows two sold-out concerts at Toronto’s Rogers Centre and British Columbia Place Stadium. Later this year, the flagrant “Case” singer will traverse Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Pune and 7 more cities as part of the massive India leg of the “Dil-Luminati Tour”.
Moose Wala and his family are yet to receive justice.
