Amidst unprecedented anticipation for his forthcoming third album “I Am Music”, or “Music”, Atlanta’s cult rap figure Playboi Carti, born Jordan Terrell Carter, has just released its third lead single “H00DBYAIR”. Produced by Carti’s frequent collaborators KP Beatz & Cardo, the single is his third single in the past ten days and has stirred far-reaching conversations about his album on social media.
Reportedly, Carti first previewed the flagrant single last week. At the time, the “FE!N” rapper, who is slated to appear on Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s debut joint album “Vultures” later this year, previewed the single featuring Opium labelmates Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang.
Similarly to “I Am Music” lead single “Different Day/Ur The Moon”, which was released last week, Carti has premiered its music video on Opium record label’s Instagram account too. As expected, the hard-hitting visual cut features guest appearances by Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang.

Besides “Different Day” and “H00DBYAIR” now, Carti officially premiered the “2024” single last week. Produced by Kanye West, Earl On The Beat and Ojivolta, the music video featured Kanye West in a black Ku Klax Klan mask.
Perhaps, Carti & Ye linked up backstage at the “Vultures Rave” album listening party in Miami at the time and filmed the visual cut.
Carti’s latest single arrives just ahead of his massive live tour.
As reported earlier, Carti has rescheduled his “Antagonist World Tour”. First announced in July this year, the rapper was originally slated to perform across the globe from September 6th. However, the rapper cancelled the long-awaited tour to first drop his full-length rap record.
The tour now begins on January 14th 2023. Carti’s fans, oftentimes referred to as Vamps, may expect the LP to drop before that date.
