Revered Punjabi filmmaker Qarn Mallhi, recognised for directing some of the most influential visual treatments for Punjabi emcee Karan Aujla, has released his debut studio album “For That Kid of Class 8th”.

Traversing 11 tracks, the independent project traverses 11 new songs “written, composed and performed by him”. As per Mallhi, the LP “reflects Qarn’s journey” and serves as an avenue to realise his longstanding ambition of becoming a lead vocalist himself.

“For That Kid of Class 8th” features a slew of Punjabi pop and rap records including “60 Seconds”, “Kithe Ne Oh”, “Road To University”, “Far Away” and “Made In Vancouver”.

Notably, Mallhi has already received a crucial co-sign by Aujla for his debut album.

Recently, the two artists joined forces for “Wavy”. It was preceded by “IDK HOW” and “Who They?” from Aujla’s massive “Four Me” EP.
