Breakthrough Bengaluru emcee & songwriter Hanumankind, born Sooraj Cherukat, is gearing up for his acting debut. The trailblazing rapper, who has taken Indian rap music by storm with his massive single “Big Dawgs”, is set to make a slick acting debut as “Gangs of Wasseypur” director Anurag Kashyap’s son in “Rifle Club” film.

The massive announcement arrives amidst HMK moving up 26 places on the Billboard Hot 100 and standing firmly at the 31st spot on the coveted charts this week.

Directed by Aashiq Abu, the forthcoming film is set to hit the theatres later this year. Check out the exclusive “Rifle Club” poster shared by Abu via Instagram.

The “That’s A Fact” emcee has further joined forces with Arsenal Football Club as part of its promotions for the Premier League. Watch it below.

In other news, Delhi’s lethal rap act Seedhe Maut has premiered the debut visual treatment from their latest EP “Shakti”.

Titled “Raat Ki Rani”, the flagrant music video serves as an ode to Hindi Cinema with portraits of Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan and vintage Bollywood posters including a sick rendition of “Hola Amigo” – their massive collaboration with Kr$na.
