Breakthrough Bronx rapper and songwriter Ice Spice and Nigerian emcee & singer Rema have teamed up on a new single. Titled “Pretty Girl”, the single is produced by Spice’s frequent collaborator and Hip-Hop superproducer Riot USA and arrives amidst an unprecedented rise in the rappers’ prominence.
Last month, Rema took home the prestigious “Best Afrobeats” honour at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023 for “Calm Down” single alongside Selena Gomez. The “Like…?” rapper Ice Spice was bestowed with the “Best New Artist” honour at the star-studded ceremony.
Further, Ice Spice was announced the “Breakthrough Artist Of The Year” at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2023. The hard-hitting woman rapper outran U.K. Rap’s iconic rapper Central Cee to win the recognition.
