Breakthrough R&B singer 4Batz, born Neko Bennett, has finally released the remix to his massive single “Act ii: Date @ 8”. Featuring a guest verse by Hip-Hop superstar and “For All The Dogs” emcee Drake, the remix is produced by October’s Very Own’s Noah “40” Shebib and marks 4Batz’s first massive collaboration.
Notably, the “Act ii: Date @ 8” remix is the second instance where Drake has given a rising emcee his co-sign and a guest verse in the past few months. Earlier this year, Drizzy linked up with another breakthrough artist and West Coast rapper Yeat on his 4th studio album “2093”.
“What kinda water they servin’ in Clayco?
Listen me talkin’, it’s not DNA, h-
Ready to pop out but we gotta lay low
I really gotta calm down
‘Fore I end up in jeopardy just like the game show
Broski my twin, that’s my bestie
He love me, said I got the blessin’
I swear he’s gassin’ me up
There’s no way in hell I see you passing me up,” Drake raps on the flagrant remix.
In October last year, Drake further teased another flagrant rap record “Yves Slatt Laurent”.
Originally recorded during “Certified Lover Boy” LP, the unreleased single features a guest verse by Atlanta’s iconic emcee Young Thug.
Recently, Drake dissed the Recording Academy after “Her Loss” – his debut collaborative effort with Atlanta’s iconic rapper 21 Savage – didn’t take home the 66th Grammy Award for “Best Rap Album”.
“All you incredible artists remember this show isn’t the facts it’s just the opinion of a group of people whose names are kept a secret (literally you can Google it). Congrats to anybody winning anything for Hip-Hop but this doesn’t dictate shit in our world,” Drizzy said at the time.
