Marquee British Rappers PAV4N and Sonnyjim have joined forces with underground record producer Kartik Sudhera to form “PATAKA BOYS”. The Hip-Hop trio, which brings together two of the most impactful South Asian emcees in Indian rap music, have further premiered their debut single “Bappi Lahiri”.
Released through Bombay’s coveted record label Azadi Records, the single arrives ahead of the consortium’s debut album set to release this summer.
Besides Sonnyjim – a veteran cult figure in underground British rap music recognized for top-tier rap records including “Barz Simpson” alongside MF Doom, Jay Electronica & The Purist, “Doc Ellis” alongside DJ Premier, “Death By Misadventure” EP with Conway The Machine, “Red Mullet” featuring Westside Gunn & more – and PAV4N, the single features a guest verse by M.O.N.G.O. – British rapper & founder of legendary UK crew Mud Fam.

Earlier this year, British Punjabi Emcee Raf-Saperra premiered his debut EP “5 Deadly Venomz”. Released via Mass Appeal India, the flagrant East Coast project features lethal guest verses by BET “Lyricist of The Year” nominee and legendary N.Y. emcee Conway and Harlem’s Nas prodigy Dave East.
