Legendary Afro Rap and Dancehall emcee Burna Boy, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, has just released his new single. Titled “Cheat on Me”, the single features a guest verse by the “Split Decision” emcee Dave and arrives within hours after Boy shared the star-studded “I Told Them…” track list with his fans.
Reportedly, the 15-track LP is slated to feature Dreamville‘s very own J. Cole, 21 Savage, Dave, Sey Vibez and Byron Messiah.
The “I Told Them…” LP, which will become Boy’s 7th full-length effort upon its release this Friday, serves as the follow-up to the Nigerian-bred emcee’s iconic Afrorap & Dancehall record “Love, Damini”.

Ahead of its release, Burna Boy has premiered four Afrorap & Pop records from the LP – “Talibans II” alongside Byron Messiah, “Big 7”, “Sittin’ On Top of The World” alongside 21 Savage and the latest single “Cheat On Me” featuring Dave.
Earlier this August, Indian Hip-Hop pioneer Ikka teased a probable collaborative effort with Jamaican Afrorap emcee Byron Messiah. At the time, the “Gundagardi” rapper was seen vibing and allegedly recording a verse on Messiah’s breakthrough record “Talibans”.
For Burna Boy, this has been a massive year. While the rapper released the chart-breaking single “Mera Na” alongside ‘his brother’ Sidhu Moose Wala, Burna became the first African rapper to shut down U.K. and U.S. stadiums as part of his ‘Love, Damini Tour’.
Look out for Burna Boy’s 7th studio album ‘I Told Them…’ this Friday.
