Drake & 21 Savage Feature on Vogue’s November Issue

After announcing a debut collaborative studio album ‘Her Loss’, Drake & 21 Savage will feature together on Vogue’s November issue. Hitting the news stands tomorrow, it would be the first Vogue cover appearance for the two iconic emcees.

In 2019, 21 Savage – Aka the “Saint Laurent Don” – featured in a two-minute film by Vogue that had showcased the ‘A Lot’ rapper getting ready for the Saint Laurent’s Men’s Spring 2019 Show in New Jersey. Savage had donned YSL’s Anthony Vaccarello’s 70’s New York-inspired collection at that time.

Owing to his love for style and clothing, Drake has been on the covers of GQ, Billboard Magazine, The FADER and more. In fact, the OVO mogul has been one of the most influential figures in rap when it comes to fashion and jewellery. With a well-suited clothing line ‘NOCTA’, he has collaborated with NIKE for exclusive designs and streewears representing the style of London, Toronto & Paris. Ever since the collaboration first started in 2020, NOCTA has expanded its vision to deliver top-notch sports clothing and shoes.

It’s recent drop features Atlanta’s iconic Lil Yachty wearing the Nike X NOCTA ‘Hot Step’ – a “premium leather” basketball shoe with Nike’s signature “Humara ‘99 tooling” and “Perforations with Reflective Underlays”. The ‘Poland’ rapper looks fresh and dapper than ever before in the collection.

On the music side of things, Drake & 21 will be releasing ‘Her Loss’ this week. After announcing the studio record through the Tay-Keith produced ‘Jimmy Cooks’ music video, the release date has been pushed by a week after Drake revealed that his long-time producer Noah “40” Shebib has contracted COVID-19. The record is now slated to drop on November 4th.

Drake & 21 Savage are master collaborators and a feature from the two emcees is highly sought after in hip-hop. However, this is the first time that they’re coming together for a full-length album. In the past, Drake and 21 have collaborated on ‘Jimmy Cooks’, ‘Knife Talk’, ‘Sneakin’ and Metro Boomin-produced ‘Mr. Right Now’.

Nevertheless, the two rappers have collaborated with some of the finest hip-hop artists on separate projects. In 2015, Drake & Future had released ‘What a Time to Be Alive’ which featured massive hits in hip-hop at that time including ‘I’m the Plug’, ‘Jumpman’ and more. 21 has collaborated with Metro Boomin on three full-length albums – ‘Savage Mode’ (2016), ‘Savage Mode II’ (2020) and ‘Without Warning’ (2017) w/ Offset.
