Indian Rapstar Emiway Bantai Draws Jarring Comparisons With American Rapper NF On New Choppa EP ‘sPeak’

Indian rap superstar and Bantai Records founder Emiway Bantai has released his debut EP this year. Titled “sPeak”, the brief project relies heavily on Bantai’s infectious choppa rap flow and traverses four tracks – “THE END”, “EVIL = EVIL”, “GANI BHAI” and “ELEVATE”.

While the flagrant EP continues to leave a lasting impact on Bantai’s discography, ardent Indian rap fans have accused the Mumbai-based rapper of strongly imitating American rapper NF.

The jarring accusations arrive after Bantai premiered “THE END” music video alongside the project. Extensive observation of the track does not point otherwise and seems heavily inspired by NF’s breakthrough record “The Search”.

However, It must be noted that besides “THE END”, the “King of The Streets” rapper keeps his authenticity intact with flagrant raps over deftly curated trap beats.

For Bantai, the “sPeak” EP serves as the follow-up to his massive studio albums “Whole Heartedly” and “King of The Streets”.

The “Still Number 1” emcee now gears up for his forthcoming project “Detroit To Antophill” with Lazarus and a sophomore collaboration with Yo Yo Honey Singh on the veteran rapper’s massive project “International Villager 2”.

Earlier this month, Bantai’s fierce rap nemesis Kr$na released his massive EP “For The Day One$”.

The hard-hitting project is produced by a slew of notable record producers including Bharg and Subspace and features guest verses by former Kalamkaar labelmate Karma, Pakistani rapper Faris Shafi and Lisa Mishra.
