Delhi NCR’s iconic emcee Fotty Seven has released the highly anticipated single ‘You Know the Drill’. Featuring Ellde Fazilka, the music video is shot on the streets of Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid in Delhi and Chandigarh by critically acclaimed filmmaker Azar Strato from Russia. The record is released via Def Jam Recordings India.
The release comes just two days after Fotty teased ‘You Know the Drill’ on his Instagram account. Fotty Seven – real name Ankit Gudwani – rose to prominence after releasing several bangers, including ‘Boht Tej’ f/ Badshah, ‘Kya Haal Hai Bro?’, ‘Tu Hai Kaun?’ f/ Raga, ‘Abey Yaar’ f/ Bali and more, in the Indian Hip-Hop scene. With a distinct voice and a groovy pen game, the young emcee is renowned for his catchy hooks and incredible sounds.
Notably, this isn’t the first time that Fotty and Def Jam are joining forces for fresh music. Earlier this year, Def Jam and Fotty came together to drop ‘Banjo’ which quickly rose to become one of the biggest hits in Indian rap.
