Earlier today, Indian rap royalties Divine and Karan Aujla premiered their debut collaborative effort “Street Dreams”. Released via Nas’ marquee record label Mass Appeal India, the sprawling record traverses 7 tracks and features a sole guest appearance by Indian pop singer Jonita Gandhi.
While “Street Dreams” is backed by Aujla & Divine’s lethal bars across flagrant song titles including the previously released “100 Million”, “Top Class/Overseas”, “Straight Ballin”, “Hisaab” and more, the album is produced by a slew of American and South Asian Hip-Hop royalties.
OVO affiliate Boi-1Da, born Matthew Jehu Samuels, has produced “Tareefan” on the incendiary joint effort by Divine & Aujla. The Toronto-bred producer, who recently worked on a slew of major Hip-Hop projects including “Pink Friday 2” by Nicki Minaj, “For All The Dogs” by Drake and “Utopia” by Travis Scott is joined by another Grammy-winning record producer and songwriter Allen Ritter.
Besides Boi-1Da and Ritter, “Street Dreams” is further produced by a slew of Hip-Hop heavyweights including Karachi’s hard-hitting “Joota Japani” producer Umair, “On Top” producer Yeah Proof, Stunnah Beatz, Leven Kali, Trox, Dave East‘s “Hoffa” producer Harry Fraud and more.
