London-bred Techno and Bass music broadcaster Boiler Room is gearing up for its Indian leg this year and has tapped Bengaluru’s very own ‘Go To Sleep’ emcee Hanumankind and Australia’s underground bass and techno DJ Partiboi 69. Besides the two artists, Rasa is slated to perform her live set at the World Trade Center, Bengaluru too.
Notably, Hanumankind’s performance comes within just a week after he performed at Lollapalooza’s Asia debut in Mumbai. The two-day festival featured hard-hitting live sets by Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine, Punjabi Rap & RnB global superstar AP Dhillon, Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, Jackson Wang and more.
Boiler Room has established its stature as a solid platform for electronic music including UK garage, house, techno and dub and has forayed into grime, Hip-Hop and jazz. Started out in London over thirteen years ago, the deftly curated intimate festival has made its inroads in Amsterdam, New York City, Berlin, Lisbon, São Paulo, Mexico City, Tokyo, Sydney, Lima and Los Angeles.
