Drake & 21 Savage’s debut collaborative effort ‘Her Loss’ has surpassed over a billion streams on Spotify – a feat that Hip-Hop listeners saw coming ever since the LP was released on November 4th 2022.
The 16-track record featured a guest appearance from Houston’s Travis Scott and a star-studded production from Lil Yachty, Metro Boomin, Tay Keith, Noah “40” Shebib and more.
The project has quickly become one of the biggest hits in hip-hop this year and is reached the top spot at the Billboard Top 200. As per a report by HITS Daily Double, the LP moved between 335,000 to 350,000 equivalent album units during its first week. The album was streamed over 150 million times in the U.S. alone.
Notably, this is Champagne Papi’s 12th such record to surpass over a billion Spotify streams. With ‘Her Loss’, Drake becomes the only artist in Hip-Hop’s history to do so.

With ‘Her Loss’ – his latest collaborative effort with 21 Savage – the Toronto-bred rapper has tied with Hov for the most no. 1’s on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums with 14 such entries.
Drake’s major label debut album Thank Me Later, released on June 15th 2010, was also his first to go no. 1 on the coveted Billboard chart. It was the third LP Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life for Jay-Z which went no. 1.
However, the 14-for-14 Billboard record includes collaborative efforts by the two iconic emcees too. ‘Everything is Love’ by Jay-Z & Beyonce and ‘Her Loss’ by Drake & 21 Savage debuted at the top spot on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums.
