British musician, composer and songwriter James Blake has released an extended cut of his sixth studio album “Playing Robots Into Heaven” on streaming platforms. The marquee record producer, who first premiered his debut collaborative effort with Endel in September this year at London’s Tate Modern art gallery, has now made the “Endel Chillout Soundscape” LP available for streaming.
Notably, the LP serves as the follow-up to Blake’s riveting 2021 album “Friends That Break Your Heart” and is written by The Neptunes affiliates Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo, British singer Judie Tzuke, Brittany Talia Hazzard, Thomas Lee Barrett, The Ragga Twins member David Steven Destouche, Grammy-nominated record producer Dom Maker & more.
While the original “Playing Robots Into Heaven” LP is home to 11 provocative titles, the latest version features 5 records – “Tell Me”, “Asking To Break”, “I Want You To Know”, “Night Sky” and “Fire The Editor” – from the album.
After releasing the evocative LP, Blake premiered a two-part short film which visualises the making of “Playing Robots Into Heaven”. You can watch them below.
Most recently, Blake linked up with Travis Scott on his massive rap LP “Utopia”.
