Karachi’s lethal emcee Talha Anjum and record producer Umair have teased a forthcoming project with New York’s coveted label Mass Appeal.
The Urdu rap heavy-hitters, who joined forces on the “ghosts, and goodbyes” EP last week, linked up with legendary East Coast emcee Nas over a FaceTime call and have strongly confirmed an imminent release with the label.
Notably, the breakthrough arrives amidst Anjum & Umair set to release another brief project “For Tha Dogs” at midnight.
For ardent rap fans, Umair’s forthcoming collaboration with Mass Appeal has been long overdue since February. At the time, the “ROCKSTAR WITHOUT A GUITAR” producer joined forces with a slew of top-tier producers including Allen Ritter, Boi-1Da, Wondagurl, Yeah Proof, Stunnah Beatz and more for the “Street Dreams” album by Divine & Karan Aujla.
The ‘100 Milli’ project arrived via Nas’ Mumbai-based label Mass Appeal India.

In other news, Queen’s breakthrough emcee Heems has released the third lead single from his forthcoming LP “Veena” with Mass Appeal. Titled “Rakhi”, the flagrant track serves as the follow-up to two provocative singles – “Dame” & “Manto”.
Besides Heems’ project and Anjum & Umair’s alleged imminent release with Mass Appeal, the coveted record label is rumoured to join forces with Raf Saperra on a forthcoming record too. The British emcee, who joined forces with Mass Appeal for the lethal “5 Deadly Venomz” EP earlier this year, previewed new music at the Paris Fashion Week in June.
Look out for Talha Anjum & Umair’s forthcoming project with Mass Appeal.
