Punjabi Hip-Hop superstar Karan Aujla has broken into the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 Chart. The legendary ‘Gangsta’ emcee entered the mainstream chart at 88th position with ‘On Top’. Aujla is the only Indian artist on the Hot 100 this week alongside 21 Savage, Drake, Quavo & Takeoff, Metro Boomin and The Weeknd.
Aujla released his highly anticipated record ‘On Top’ on November 25th 2022. The single came alongside ‘WYTB’ and has swiftly risen to become of Aujla’s most influential records in Punjabi Hip-Hop.
As per many, Aujla is the finest lyricist and emcee of all time in the Punjabi hip-hop scene. Revered for his music, the artist stands next to some of the biggest icons in Punjabi music including the late Sidhu Moosewala and Diljit Dosanjh. The preview arrived right after Aujla’s avant-garde performance at Wembley Stadium’s OVO Arena in London.
Recently, Culture Haze confirmed that Karan Aujla is slated to join hands with India’s Hip-Hop global superstar Badshah. Reportedly, the single will be released through the iconic Def Jam Recordings India label.
