Killer Mike Announces Sixth LP ‘Michael’ After Ten Years, To Feature André 3000, Lil Wayne & Dave Chapelle

Atlanta’s legendary emcee and record producer Killer Mike, born Michael Santiago Render, has announced his highly anticipated sixth LP. Titled ‘Michael’, the rapper, who also serves as a member of the iconic Brooklyn-based Hip-Hop duo Run The Jewels alongside El-P, is slated to drop his first solo project in over ten years.

While the emcee has released numerous projects under the ‘Run The Jewels’ banner, his last solo endeavour, aptly titled ‘R.A.P. Music’, was released on May 15th 2012. Ever since then, the influential rap artist has released a slew of collaborative LPs with Run The Jewels including the ‘Run The Jewels’ four-part series.

Earlier this month, Killer Mike held an intimate album listening session at SXSW 2023. During the full-length LP showcase, Mike expressed gratitude to everyone present including Dave Chapelle and Los Angeles emcee Blxst.

Further, Hip-Hop’s leading radio host and producer DJ Kenny Perez confirmed guest verses from Lil Wayne and André 3000. “Without a doubt, RUN and embrace it when it drops. The project is a journey through his life and he doesn’t hold back. Collabs with Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, Dave Chappelle and more,” Perez wrote on social media.

In the lead-up to his sixth LP, Killer Mike has released at least two lead singles. Speculated to feature on the highly anticipated LP, Mike teamed up with Dave Chapelle and Atlanta’s far-reaching emcee Young Thug on”RUN” and “TALK’N THAT SHIT” with DJ Paul.
