Indian Hip-Hop superstar King’s Rap and R&B records have been watched over a billion times on YouTube. The young ‘Champagne Talk’ emcee is one of the very few rappers in India to achieve this feat. Mumbai-based Emiway Bantai has accumulated over 3.2 Billion views on the video streaming and publishing platform. The ‘3:00 A.M. Sessions’ emcee Badshah sits at over 1.7 Billion at the time of publishing this story.
However, King isn’t unfamiliar with having massive numbers on the board. Last year, the ‘Pablo’ of Indian Hip-Hop was streamed over 300 Million times on Spotify alone with his latest album ‘Champagne Talk’ amassing over 100 million streams within just two months of its release.
While King gears up for new music this year, he is slated to perform alongside Houston’s legendary emcee Travis Scott and Philly’s Lil Uzi Vert. He’ll be further joined by India’s rap royalty and Gully Gang bossman Divine and Karachi’s top-selling Hip-Hop act Young Stunners.
