Legendary Wu-Tang Clan affiliate and veteran emcee Ghostface Killah, born Dennis David Coles, and East Coast rap mogul Nas have joined forces on a new single. Titled “Scar Tissue”, the flagrant rap record is produced by T The Human and serves as the lead single from Killah’s forthcoming studio album “Set The Tone”.

Notably, Killah’s 12th studio album is set to release via Mass Appeal and will mark the “Protect Ya Neck” rapper’s first project with the coveted Nas owned record label.

For Killah & Nas’ ardent fans, “Scar Tissue” marks one of the rare collaborative efforts between the marquee rappers. Besides the latest fierce single, the East Coast Hip-Hop top dawgs have linked up on historic rap records including “Verbal Intercourse” on Raekwon‘s iconic rap LP “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx” and “The Mecca”.

For Nas, “Scar Tissue” arrives within a couple of weeks after the legendary Queens rapper teamed up with DJ Premier on “Define My Name” single. Reportedly, the sprawling rap record paves the way for his debut collaborative album with Premier – the influential record producer behind his debut studio album “Illmatic”.

Upon its release, the LP will mark Nas’ 19th full-length rap record. Last year, the “N.Y. State of Mind” rapper released the “Magic 3” LP on his 50th Birthday.

Look out for “Set The Tone” LP by Ghostface Killah with Mass Appeal.
