Lil Durk Drops 8th Studio Album ‘Almost Healed’ Featuring Alicia Keys, 21 Savage, J. Cole, Future, Metro Boomin & More

Chicago, Illinois-based legendary emcee and lyricist Lil Durk – real name Durk Derrick Bank – has finally released his highly anticipated 8th studio album “Almost Healed”. The hard-hitting 21-track rap record features guest verses by influential rap superstars 21 Savage, J. Cole, Atlanta’s rap pioneer Future, Kodak Black, Juice WRLD, Morgan Wallen, Rob 49 & Alicia Keys.

The album’s rollout has been mired by numerous uncertainties. Originally slated to drop on May 19, Durk pushed the release date further amidst an incendiary diss by NBA YoungBoy on his latest LP “Richest Opp”.

Further, Durk teased “The Voice 2.0” LP instead of Almost Healed in February. However, the fact that the OTF-bossman, who linked up with Chicago’s influential consortium of emcees and record producers on “Lil Durk Presents: Only The Bros 2” last year, is rather gearing up to drop “Almost Healed” wasn’t revealed until this month.

Nevertheless, given Durk’s unprecedented influence over rap music across the globe, the emcee can drop projects at will. Having such a massive line-up of record producers and emcees on a single rap record furthers Durk’s impact on global Hip-Hop as it turns 50.

Besides the star-studded guest appearances, Durk has recruited some of the biggest record producers for his affecting rap record.

As reported earlier, Durk’s latest LP is spearheaded by marquee rap record producers including Metro Boomin, ATL Jacob, Wheezy, Zaytoven, Dr Luke, Major Seven, Chopsquad DJ, Haze and more. Apart from the Hip-Hop record production mainstays, the album further features a guest production by Alicia Keys.

Just ahead of his highly anticipated LP, Durk released “Therapy Session/Pelle Coat” featuring Alicia Keys. Produced by Chopsquad DJ and Keys herself, the rap record served as the follow-up to “All My Life” alongside J. Cole. Watch it here if you haven’t yet.
