Brooklyn’s legendary Hip-Hop emcee Jay-Z – a.k.a Jigga a.k.a HOV – has revealed his top picks for 2022 in a new TIDAL playlist. The 41-track mix captures the track that HOV thinks influenced his listening catalogue and features numerous Hip-Hop records alongside R&B, Afrobeats, reggaeton, pop and more.
Leading the playlist is Philadelphia’s Lil Uzi Vert. The iconic ‘XO Tour Life’ emcee released ‘Just Wanna Rock’ in November this year. The track is followed by a slew of marquee artists including Ab-Soul, Burna Boy, Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, Future, Drake, 21 Savage, SZA, Lil Yachty, Vince Staples, Lil Baby, YSL’s Gunna & Young Thug, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Nas, Pusha T and more.
Notably, Hov includes himself on the playlist too with Pusha T’s Pharrell Williams-produced ‘Neck & Wrist’ and DJ Khaled-produced ‘God Did’ alongside Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.
