Breaking: MC Stan Returns On 24th Birthday, Releases New Single ‘Nusta Paisa’ & Premieres Massive Music Video

Indian Hip-Hop superstar MC Stan has just premiered his latest single. Titled “Nusta Paisa”, the hard-hitting rap record arrives on the rapper’s 24th birthday and in fact, marks Stan’s first solo rap record in over a year.

Produced by the young emcee himself, the infectious rap record is reminiscent of Pune’s pure gangsta rap at first listen. Backed by Stan’s unapologetic lyricism in Hindi and Marathi vernacular, the track captures Stan’s flagrant rap life which sits at the centre of unprecedented stardom and Pune streets.

However, most significantly, “Nusta Paisa” is a massive departure from the rapper’s last top-selling LP “Insaan”. While the 11-track rap LP was mired by heavy autotunes and mumble rap, the latest single is Stan’s swift return to Choppa flow and traverses slick snares pinned against his lethal lyricism and basslines.

Notably, the young rap prodigy MC Stan turns 24. The rapper, who often refers to himself as “God’s Favourite Child” and rightly so, is one of the most influential Indian Hip-Hop artists in recent times.

The single, first announced on Friday last week, now paves the way for Stan’s forthcoming rap LP. While the “307” emcee has announced his third LP and confirmed a guest verse by “Tommy Lee” rapper Tyla Yaweh, Stan has been quite secretive about his upcoming full-length effort.

Whether “Nusta Paisa” will serve as the lead single from that LP remains to be seen. Most recently, Stan dropped an incendiary guest verse on KSHMR‘s “Haath Varthi” single from his forthcoming debut Hip-Hop album “Karam”.

Earlier this month, the “Hindi Records” bossman linked up with Indian Hip-Hop superstars Badshah and King at AP Dhillon‘s “First of A Kind” documentary series premiere in Mumbai.

The “Nusta Paisa” single arrives alongside an epic visual treatment. Watch it here.
