Atlanta-based record producer Metro Boomin’ has released a short film featuring Young Slime Life, or YSL’s Young Thug, Gunna, Morgan Freeman and LaKeith Stanfield ahead of his highly anticipated LP ‘Heroes & Villains’. The short film is directed by the iconic Hip-Hop filmmaker and director Gibson Hazard.
“For years, Metro Boomin has protected the city from the unrelenting threat of evil,” Morgan Freeman narrates on the almost six minutes and a half long short film. “With the light of the Boomanati headquarters, once a beacon of hope, has gone dark. In Metro’s absence, villains rise from the shadows.” he continued.

Last week, Boomin took to Instagram to reveal the short film’s poster which set massive waves across Hip-Hop.
Hazard is behind some of the finest visuals in rap music including ‘Just Wanna Rock’ by Lil Uzi Vert and has filmed stunning tour life visuals for Future, The Weeknd, Drake, Billie Eilish, 6LACK and more.
Metro Boomin’s sophomore solo studio album ‘Heroes & Villains’ is slated to be released on December 2nd 2022. The LP will serve as the follow-up to ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ and is the second project in the now-confirmed trilogy.
The first instalment in the now confirmed trilogy ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ was a twenty-six-track two-disc project which featured guest appearances by Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Young Slime Life’s Gunna & Young Thug, Wizkid, J Balvin, Offset, Kodak Black and Drake on Disc 1 alongside an instrumental disc 2. The album was released on November 6th 2018.
