National Football League, populary known as NFL, paid tribute to the late Kirshnik Khari Ball a.k.a Take-off. The iconic emcee, who made a massive impact in modern hip-hop as one-third of the Migos, was shot dead on November 1st, 2022 after things went downhill during a dice game in Houston, Texas.
Ahead of the match between Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers at Mercedes Stadium in Atlanta – Take-off’s hometown – the stadium was lit up with the rapper’s photograph. “Sunrise 1994” “Sunset 2022” – the text below the stadium’s dome read.
After a hiatus from Migos, Take-off & Quavo released their debut collaborative project ‘Only Built for Infinity Links’ – a star studded record inspired from Raekwon’s 1995 record ‘Only Built 4 Infinity Linx’. The record was released on 7th October, 2022.
