South London’s iconic Punjabi Hip-Hop emcee and filmmaker Raf-Saperra has announced his debut world tour. Titled “Ruff Around The Edges World Tour”, Raf is slated to tour across Canada, the U.K. and the U.S. and perform his recent body of work “Ruff Around The Edges” mixtape.
Raf, who recently linked up the legendary Punjabi singer Jazzy B, Dr Zeus and Birmingham’s underground emcee Nakeeta on “Automatic Asla”, has confirmed that his hotly anticipated world tour will begin this July in Vancouver. From there, the “Modern Mirza” will traverse Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto.
The “Ruff Around The Edges” LP is a glorious nineteen-track record which serves as a far-reaching concoction of raw Punjabi folk and classic Hip-Hop. The mixtape includes Raf-Saperra’s independent single “Modern Mirza“.
Produced by influential Punjabi folk and rap record producers Bobby Kang, G Funk, DJ Juggy, The Culprit, Ransome Beatz, Rafaqat Hussain and himself, Raf-Saperra’s affecting mixtape is released via a limited batch of physical copies – Vinyl, CD & Cassette – and available for digital streaming. The LP is released through London’s underground record label Fat Boy Records and features guest features from Ustaad Latafat Ali Khan, Loun, Myrgasmic and Naseebo Lal.
