The iconic singer and wellness mogul Rihanna is set to release new music this Friday. Joining forces with Marvel, the ‘Bitch, Better Have My Money’ singer will make the long-awaited return to music on ‘Wakanda Forever’ Soundtrack.
Titled ‘Lift Me Up’, the song is dedicated to the late Chadwick Boseman.
Earlier this month, it was rumoured that Rihanna will possibly have two tracks on the album. “Rumors are flying and I can add to them: I’ve been hearing for weeks that Rihanna is recording the end-credits song for BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER. How do you follow up a classic like ‘All the Stars’? By snagging Rihanna’s first big song in years (sic),” the New York Time columnist Kyle Buchanan had tweeted.
RiRi released her last piece of music in 2016 with ‘ANTI’. The 13-track record had included hits such as ‘Work’ (featuring Drake) and ‘Consideration’ (featuring SZA).
Rihanna is slated to perform at the NFL Superbowl 2023 and will supposedly go on a world tour the same year as well. This has fans anticipating a ninth Rihanna album in the works. However, RiRi is yet to make a statement about it.
